Superloop partners with DV Collective to unleash possibilities for domestic violence support

In 2023 Superloop signed on to partner with the DV Collective. We know first-hand how many possibilities and opportunities connectivity can unlock, and after hearing from DV Collective founder, Kylie Johanson, we knew we wanted to jump on board.

The DV Collective origin story is sadly far too common in Australia. Sitting on a Melbourne beach, pregnant with her second child, Kylie knew she needed to leave. She called helplines, only to find them disconnected. Reached out to support services, only to find they were underfunded or had 12 month waiting period. She told us she felt more isolated and afraid than ever before. Fortunately, Kylie is a woman with seemingly endless determination, and she made a promise to herself that she would get out, and she would do everything she could to make it easier for other women to do the same. And so, the idea for the DV Collective was born.

Cut to 2023, and the DV Collective is a reality. It's a platform where charities and organisations supporting women and children of domestic violence can come together in one space. That includes shelters, legal aid services, organisations that provide clothing, toys, mobile phones – all of those things that are essential for people escaping cruelty. And the best part, corporate partners can then donate funds, services, and skilled workers to support any or all of the member charities.

We’re super thrilled to be able to stand behind the DV Collective, and the hundreds of incredible organisations making a difference for women and children right across the country.
